Election of Trustees

A motion was brought at the Annual General Meeting, to amend the Trustee Election from an election
of four (4) Trustees to an election of seven (7) Trustees. Such that at the confirmation of the election
the Trust would comprise nine (9) total Trustees.

The motion was carried.

The final certified result for the Election of Trustees held at Waipapa Marae on Sunday 26 of February 2023 is:

I, therefore, declare Tiriana ANDERSON, Nedracita DUNN, Hone EDWARDS, Tegan Hinga
PORIMA-FRIEND, Hinga PORIMA-ORMSBY, Thomas TAI and Ngatauerua THOMPSON as
successful candidates.

Successful candidates will take office as trustees following confirmation by the Māori Land Court.

In accordance with the Waipapa Marae Charter, three (3) Trustees are required to retire by rotation.
Trustees may hold an office for three (3) years. The Charter implies but does not explicitly state the
basis for rotation. It is therefore up to the Trustees to determine who will retire by rotation at the next
AGM such that no trustee holds office for more than three (3) years without facing an election.
