The Waikato-Tainui Kaumaatua health insurance scheme is now available
The Waikato-Tainui Kaumaatua health insurance scheme is now an available option within your Kaumaatua Medical Grant.
This option provides you with an annual health insurance plan through Southern Cross, valued at $1,250, for just $500 – that’s only 50% of your total entitlement under this grant option!
HealthEssentials provides cover for a wide variety of day-to-day healthcare services, including:
- GP consultations ($150 annual limit)
- Dental consultations and treatment ($500 annual limit)
- Optometrist consultations ($100 annual limit)
- Prescription glasses or contact lenses ($250 annual limit)
- Self-care ($250 annual limit), which includes:
- Physiotherapist,
- Osteopath,
- Chiropractor,
- Registered massage therapist,
- Acupuncture,
- Dietician or Nutritionist
What better way to get those lingering worries or issues seen to and ensure you’re caring for your own tiinana, as much as you do for your whaanau.
