Save the date!

We extend a warm welcome to the whānau of Waipapa Marae for the rededication of our Whare Tūpuna, Ngā Tai Whakarongorua.

On the 5th of November at 6 am, our Karakia and rededication ceremony will take place.

Our Kaumātua Te Papi Cunningham asks that we please gather on the Marae Ātea, ready for the ceremonies to begin.

For Catering purposes, we ask that you register your attendance below.

We understand that registering to attend a Marae event is a new process, but we are hoping this will make things easier for our Ringawera and Ringaraupā. This will also ensure we cater appropriately and uphold the tikanga of Manaakitanga. Please note, we are only trialling this registration process for Marae events and it will only be implemented when necessary. We hope to use this process in future for things like Wānanga Reo, Tikanga and Waiata.
